FENG FENG

Feng Feng is one the the most well-known and internationally acclaimed contemporary Chinese abstract and semi-abstract artists. Born in Tianjin, Feng Feng is also a poet, and many of his pieces are based on historical Chinese literature such as the Dream of the Red Mansions. Feng Feng has sometimes even painted physical books within his work.

Feng Feng is a pioneer in China and master at mixing media within his paintings. He uses all sorts of media, including things that he finds in the trash for his artwork. Born in 1958, Feng Feng has many years of experience at producing his abstract pieces, and already copycat artists can be seen in China. Some people joke that in China copycats prove an artists success.
